Passionate about Chocolate

The Chocolate Bar was opened in 2001, and quickly became a haven for chocolate lovers in Rutland, it is now an established and well known business in the beautifull market town of Oakham.

Two friends Sharon and Lesley (both confirmed chocoholics) got together to transform a small cafe and chocolate shop into a thriving business.

They extended the small chocolate bar into a spacious and vibrant cafe.

Their aims are simple: to provide excellent service, to be continually seeking out the best quality products at value for money prices. (Not that you can put a price on some things!).

The shop offers a wide range of finest Belgium chocolates in Rutland as well as a range of gluten free, diabetic, sugar free and dairy free chocolates.

They have novelty chocolate gifts, personally gift boxed chocolates or you can choose from their mouthwatering display of individual chocolates.
